There are seven things that can make you happy, but there are just as many if not more that can make you sad. This means that no matter how much you try to be happy in your life there will be moments when you are sad. There will always be times in your life when you feel a negative emotion. It’s not always bad to feel emotional pain. Without sadness there would be no joy, pain is a necessary feeling in life. If we didn’t experience pain we would not be able to tell the difference between joy and sadness. Happiness without sadness means nothing, joy would not exist if there was no sadness because there would be nothing to compare it to. Just like if there was no hate there would be no love because we would not be able know what love is if it didn’t have an opposite to differentiate it from. Without pain or sadness the world would be in chaos and confusion because there would simply be no emotions. Another good thing about pain is it encourages us to be empathetic. When we’re empathetic we know what someone is feeling because we’ve dealt with and experienced that pain ourselves.
Empathy is very important to because its a link between you and someone else generated by shared troubles or pains. Empathy is something that brings people together during hard times in one’s life. Empathy goes far beyond sympathy in ways that one couldn’t possibly imagine. First of all sympathy is just feeling pity for another person’s misfortune, but empathy is when you put yourself in someone else’s shoes and are experiencing or have experienced what they’re feeling and what they’re going through. Empathy also helps us understand others by sensing others feeling and perspectives on just about anything. It doesn’t have to be experienced verbally it can be with a glance of an eye or just by reading someone’s body language. Empathy is not always for emotional things but also for something physical like you see someone has broken their wrist and that happened to you once and you are feeling empathy for them. Sometimes we think we’re feeling empathy, but a lot of the times we’re just feeling sympathy for someone. Empathy is often confused with sympathy pity and sorrow, this makes sense because they’re relatively close subjects. The difference between empathy and sympathy is that sympathy is feeling sorry for someone, but empathy is much more than that, it’s being able to feel what someone else is going through.
Motivation and success, this is an important subject because motivation a lot of successful people would not made it without motivation. Motivation in my opinion is a form of positivity, it’s a cycological tool. It helps a good amount of people reach their goals, but on the other hand if you don’t have the motivation to do something you have a slimmer chance of achieving success. If you believe you can’t do something you probably are right but if you believe you can do something you are more likely to reach success. Motivation is often confused with hope. Motivation is different than hope because, motivation is a reason for doing something and hope is a feeling. Hope is a desire for a certain thing to happen, it’s the reason for having motivation. If your hopeful your not necessarily motivated, hope is the base form of motivation.
