I believe that the kind of Governmental System the United States has would be Indirect Democracy also known as Representative Democracy. It is where citizens elect representatives to enact laws to make a decision-making for them. Some key characteristics would be that citizens over 18 have the right to vote and only one vote each. They can freely express their point of view to the government. Also, if a foreigner would ask me what kind of governmental system, I would respond with “Well we the people vote for a president and members of the Congress, so they can represent us and make decisions that are best for us. Our system would be considered as Indirect Democracy.”
