In 325 A.D Christianity was frowned upon and scarce, then how did it become the dominant religion of the world today? After the death of Jesus, Christianity spread to Rome. By 500 A.D it was the official religion of Rome, when originally it was shunned. Also between this time, Constantine, the emperor of rome decide to support the religion, more churches were built and the religion began to have more structure. With the religion becoming stronger, it became more appealing to other people. Non Christians were drawn to Christianity because of its welcoming nature. Christianity is based off the ideas of embracing all people- men and women: the poor, nobles and slaves. It also gave hope and promised eternal life after death. Christianity spread and became a dominant religion because it gained many followers with its welcoming vibe, strengthened structure, and Constantine’s support.
