It is important to identify the influencing predictive variables on both the course and student’s performance and university management must be aware of the potential of data mining and the usage of the techniques. Data mining techniques are widely used for extracting hidden patterns and discovering relationship between various features. In this paper, a basic data mining-based prediction model was introduced.
