Dear diary,
Today was a terrible day. I have received a letter from my father saying that my mother had been killed by soldiers near the border. The Fitzgeralds tell me to stay strong, but this war is getting out of hand. Why can’t the people of Ethiopia and the people of Eritrea live in peace? They are fighting over nothing but a border. I believe in fighting for love, peace and freedom. Not a silly border. Pg 261 I’ve recently also have had to go to court. The UK does not wish to accept many refugees. The refugee council is fighting my case along with a lawyer Pg 132
so that my father and I can stay in the UK.
I hope things get better.
