Today I’m here to defend that exams shouldn’t be abolished from school.
Nowadays students complain that exams are stressful, but won’t students find stressful situations through their life? And if they do, because they are, should they just escape from the situation? No. We would be educating them in a wrong way. Exams are here to give the students possibilities to demonstrate their skills, progress, how much has the student learned in a period of time and what should be improved. They are absolutely necessary and useful, because it will prepare students for a the pressure of future university life, once students are in a higher level or grade, the difficulty of the exams will decrease in a very steady way, so there should be no exams abolished. It’s easier for a teacher to judge our marks with a non-standardized method like exams, so they can see how can a person improve to make them be more complete student.
