Ways to lose weight
According to the National Institutes of Health, obesity is the second leading cause of preventable death in the United States, close behind tobacco use. An estimated 300,000 deaths per year are due to the obesity. Obesity can occur in anyone, does not matter what age, color, or ethnicity. When people are overweight, they will do anything to lose their weight even though they should eat diet pills that can give bad effect to their body. Whereas if they have determination and motivation to lose their weight, they can lose weight by using the healthy way. Four healthy ways to lose weight are eat healthy foods, do exercise, stress less, and sleep more.
The first way in losing weight is to eat healthy foods. In order to lose weight people must adapt good eating habits. They have to avoid from fried foods and foods that have a lot of fat. A study published in the February 2013 issue of Nutrition, Metabolism and Cardiovascular Diseases found that consuming fried foods more than four times per week increased the risk for obesity compared to consuming these foods less than two times per week. Therefore, eat the food that the processed by steaming or boiling better than fried food.
The second way in losing weight is to do exercise. Eat healthy foods will only keep the body from getting fat, but do exercise will lose the weight. One of the most popular types of exercise for weight loss is cardio. Cardio will help burn calories and body fat. The types of cardio are running, walking, cycling, and swimming. Therefore, the people that want weight loss can choose one of that cardio.
The third way in losing weight is stress less. According to Dr. Brian Feldman from Stanford University, “We found that stress can lead to weight gain. Stress is also one of the things that drives the formation of fat cells in the body.” Therefore, if the people stress, they can relax or go somewhere to have fun or enjoy they life.
The last way in losing weight is sleep more. According to nutritionist Haya Al Khatib, “increasing the duration of sleep an hour or more will lead us to choose healthier foods.” For example, if a person usually sleep during 7 hours, he can increase his time to be 8 hours.
To sum up, there are several ways to lose weight by using healthy way. Lose weight by using healthy way better than using diet pills that can give bad effect to body.
